Your design.
Made to be seen.
DTG stands for direct-to-garment. Digital printing applies specialist garment inks directly to the fabric, with pretreatment where required. The inks are then cured using heat. It is an option for full-colour logos, detailed artwork and larger designs on suitable clothing.
Cotton and suitable cotton-rich garments are a good starting point. Fabric blends, surface texture, coatings and garment colour all affect suitability and the finished result. We check the exact style and any preparation needed before confirming your print.
Tell us whether you need a chest logo, back print, sleeve detail or a combination. Artwork, print size and access to each area are checked before your quotation and design are agreed.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT FINISH
Embroidery or DTG?
The best option depends on your design, your garment and how you want it to look.
| Consideration | Embroidery | DTG printing |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | A textured, stitched finish. | Ink printed directly onto the fabric. |
| Typical use | Chest logos, names, polo shirts and outer layers. | Detailed artwork, colourful logos and larger prints. |
| Artwork | Converted into a stitch file; very fine detail may need simplification. | Clear, high-resolution artwork; fine elements are checked for print suitability. |
| Garment choice | Fabric weight and construction are checked. | Often cotton or suitable cotton-rich blends; fabric, preparation and print access are checked. |
BEFORE WE GET STARTED
A few useful details.
What artwork should I send?
Send the clearest logo file you have. Vector artwork or a high-resolution transparent image is helpful. We will let you know if the file needs adjustment and confirm any artwork or embroidery setup costs in the quote.
Can I have different names or logo positions?
Yes, include each name and position in your brief. We confirm what is achievable on your chosen garments and reflect the agreed personalisation in your quotation.
Will I see the design before production?
Artwork, placement and order details are agreed before production. Check spelling, logo proportions, garment colours, sizes and quantities carefully when approving them.
How should I wash personalised workwear?
Follow the garment label and any decoration-specific care instructions supplied with your order. Wash inside out where advised and avoid ironing directly over a printed or embroidered design.
Can you personalise hi-vis or protective workwear?
Suitability must be checked against the exact garment, workplace requirements and decoration position. Adding a logo must not compromise required performance or the effective visibility area.
